Last month at the WiLSWorld conference, Dan and I had the pleasure of presenting a talk about using wikis at work. One wiki we really enjoyed showing off was created and used by Middleton PL staff (major kudos to Sarah) for reference desk troubleshooting tips.
The "cheat sheet wiki," as it's called, uses a TiddlyWik. TiddlyWiki is really simple to use because it's just one HTML file that can be viewed in a browser. There's no software to configure and no hosting to find.
TiddlyWikis are well-suited to in-house use - you can save them on a staff computer, a shared drive, or even a staff web site. They're also easy to edit. Try it out today!
