Now what about printing from all these wireless devices?

In August 2013, SCLS tech staff presented a proposal for wireless printing using the PrinterOn service. You can read minutes from the August 14, 2013 meeting here. 

PrinterOn was selected as SCLS' recommendation for many reasons:

  • PrinterOn is the industry leader when it comes to wireless printing
  • PrinterOn works with libraries' existing printers (no need to buy new printers!)
  • PrinterOn offers both a web interface and a variety of apps (iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, Kindle, and Nook)
  • For busier libraries, there are also self-service payment options available
