The guidelines for great communication depend on if you are the person sending the messages or receiving them. The sender needs to take responsibility for the details of what they send and, to a certain extent, the responses they receive. However, the receiver needs to give the sender the benefit of the doubt. How do these two sets of rules complement each other, and collide?
