Originally presented Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with John DeBacher, DPI, presenting.
You might want to forget about your annual report as soon as you submit it, but actually it is full of rich data you can use to share information with your board and your community. A new tool will allow you to access this information sooner and do more with it. John DeBacher from the Division for Libraries, Technology and Community Learning will introduce you to what you can do with it.
From John via email:
- The templates have been cleaned up from the changes I had inadvertently made
- The “brochure” has been updated to include the municipal population (I made a few other minor changes and corrections, too)
- I appreciate everyone’s patience through the webinar and I hope they find the “canned” reports helpful. If they have suggestions for other reports that would be useful to all types of libraries. I am open to suggestions (though there’s no way I can create custom reports). I would also like to hear stories from libraries that find the reports helpful in maintaining or increasing support (the contract needs to be bid again this year and I fear it may be trimmed back to data collection only)
