Local Lemonade Stand Aids in Rio Community Library’s Paint Fundraiser
During a visit to the Rio Community Library, patrons Angel and Baylee, found a very curious object sitting on the circulation desk. A paint can. What is the library doing with a paint can? They decided to investigate. Talking with the library staff, they learned about the library’s ongoing fundraiser to collect donations to paint the outside of the library. These young ladies decided to help fill that paint can with their very own lemonade stand fundraiser. Angel and Baylee were very successful, earning $134.00 to donate. A big thank you to Angel and Baylee.

Behind the Scenes Look – A Returned Library Book
Tag along with Mount Horeb’s Youth Services Librarian, Hannah Klapperich-Mueller, as she shows us a “behind the scenes” journey of what happens to a library book when it is returned to the library. This is a must see. Fabulous job to all that worked on this video. Oh, and Hannah…we LOVE the dress.
