We've heard lots about the "Summer Slide" and how the Summer Library Program helps to prevent this.
But what about the librarians? With school out for the summer, we get fewer reference questions to answer. How do we keep up our searching skills?
This summer, we're introducing a 12 week program for librarians to enhance and improve their SLP (Super Librarian Powers). Starting June 1, we'll highlight a variety of online resources (aka databases), searching tips & tricks, and more.
Each week's post will explore a different online resource by giving you an overview of the content, highlighting some of the features of the resource, and providing links to additional training and help. Want a little bit more? Each week's post will also include an optional short quiz designed to help you become more familiar with the resource.
Our first resource, AncestryLibrary, will be posted on Monday, June 1. See you next week!
P.S. Thanks to Kerri for the shout-out on TechBits - and for finding this awesome image!
