Mary Tooley - Art in a Suitcase Incredible rocks, fossils and dinosaurs will star in this new Art in a Suitcase program. You will discover how planet Earth makes new rocks and how minerals grow fabulous crystals. See the amazing rock that can bend, the rock that can float and a rock that you can rub into your skin! Then check out the fossil rocks including a mysterious one that was made by a dinosaur. Learn the correct way to dig up a dinosaur. The program concludes with everyone making a dinosaur diorama to take home.
Music With a Message is an upbeat heartwarming "Life Skills" participation program that draws forth and celebrates the best in each of us. Self-esteem, respect for our earth and for each other, health of body and spirit, peace, cooperation, and just plain fun all are presented in the context of delightful lyrics, catchy tunes, humor and love. Carol accompanies with guitar, banjo, and piano.
June 21, 9am - 12pm Author Mark Gengler, former Vesper area resident, visits the Lester Public Library of Vesper to share his book, Noah Thorne. At 9 am he will tell the story about a boy growing up on a Wisconsin farm in the 1920s, when electricity was new, the telephone was in its infancy, and the tractor was replacing the horse to work. There will also be a time of questions and answers. Afterwards, books will be available to purchase, and he will be signing copies. Light refreshments will be served.

Come to the Summer Library Program Open House Saturday morning May 31st 9am-12pm or Thursday evening June 5th from 4-6pm to register for Summer Library Program. Staff will be on hand to answer questions, help with registration and tell more of the exciting things we have planned for this summer!
