We have had a couple of problems reported to us that turn out to be based on coding errors. Some staff (and patron) records were incorrectly assigned or changed to the STF patron category. There are no Circulation Issuing Rules set up in the system for the STF patron category; we only use that category for logins. If a patron record is set up using the STF patron category, that patron will not be able place holds or check out. The correct code for your library staff is ADS - Adult Staff. Please use that code when creating or changing staff patron records.
