- 9/23/2011 The Newspaper indexes are now available to the public. See the LINK 2.0 Koha blog post for more details.
- 9/22/2011 LibLime applied an update to Koha on 9/21. We are still testing the problems with deleting patron records and the Holds Queue report fixes. Otherwise, we have confirmed that the problems listed in the LINK 2.0 Koha blog post are fixed.
Problems Fixed
- CIRC/FINES: When items that have a status in the "Lost" category (e.g. Mending, Lost in Transit, etc.) are checked in at a library other than the Home (owning) Library, the check in process "hangs" and the item is not put into transit. (Instead, the status is changed to "Available" and the Current Library is not changed.) If you are checking in an item that is not owned by your library, and you get the "Item was lost, now found" message, and you do not get a message that the item needs to be returned to its Home Library, or if the hold is not trapped, please check the item in again. The second checkin will put the item into transit to its Home library or trap the hold. (SCLS Support Ticket 40381) (Fixed 9/22/2011) Note: you will now see the message "No holds pending, item needs to be returned to its homebranch." when checking in these items. It does not require any extra clicks beyond the confirmation that you are putting it into transit to its home location.
- PAC: Truncated barcode login not working in PAC. It's also not working in the patron search in the staff client. (5/11/11) (SCLS Support Ticket 39874) (Fixed 9/22/2011)
New Problems Identified
- CIRC/Check In: Dropbox checkin option: When checking in an item that transfers to its home library, you are bumped out of the option and have to reset it. This is not happening with Override Checkin Date option. (9/22/11) (SCLS Support Ticket 41033) (Not on Koha Problems and Fixes Spreadsheet)
- PAC: RSS feed button does not work. When you click on it, you eventually get a message that the connection has timed out because the server at 10.79.29.166 is taking too long to respond. (9/20/11) (SCLS Support Ticket 41022) (Not on Koha Problems and Fixes Spreadsheet)
