Ireland Trip

Susan Santner from UW-SLIS Continuing Education asked me to pass along information on this upcoming trip to Ireland.  Sounds like a great time!

Books and Beauty in Western Ireland: A Librarians’ Trip
February 28-March 9, 2008

*There were librarians from the states
Who took advantage of early spring rates.
They booked a SLIS trip, and through Ireland did skip
To the Ennis Book Festival '08!*

Avoid high summer travel costs! Flights to Ireland for the trip are approximately $300 less than summer airfare and hotel rates are also less expensive.

Join us for an adventure on the west coast of the Emerald Isle. We will begin with three stimulating days of celebrating literature at the Ennis Book Club Festival, followed by exploring points of interest. Some of the highlights include the cities of Limerick, Galway, and Tipperary, the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren, traditional music venues, and a castle or two. This trip will delight your senses and enrich your appreciation of Irish literature and culture.

Visit http://www.slis.wisc.edu/continueed/Ireland for full details.
