  • PLA Results Boot Camp, October 18 through October 22, is a weeklong interactive workshop in Nashville designed to teach practical library management skills.  Participants will be encouraged to apply what they learn to real-life problems and issues in their library.  PLA Boot Camp will help attendees understand the publications in the Results series and see first-hand how they interconnect, and how they can help library managers forge an effective management style. Acceptance to Results Boot Camp 6 is competitive. Participation is limited to ensure an environment that fosters group interaction and active participation.  The application deadline is September 16, 2011. Cost = $795-995 + travel expenses*.
